Shipping and Returns

We have had to alter our shipping policy due to Covid delays and hugely increased shipping prices being forced on us, so we are currently not accepting orders from a handful of countries.

For everyone else, once your order is placed an automatic confirmation is sent to you (as long as you have typed your email address correctly). We will then send the order and a confirmation when we post it.

We aim to send all orders the next working day, but during the COVID-19 situation it might be up to two working days. At this time post has been affected in many countries. It's slower and some borders have been closed for periods, but most are operating.

To ensure uninterrupted service at the same prices, we are shipping US orders in bulk to an operative in the States who sends them on by USPS. It should not take much longer, if at all, than our previous service, but it is the only way to keep prices the same in the light of huge price increases forced on all courier companies by changes to US policy. 

To work out the shipping price, simply put all the items you require into your cart, choose your country in the dropdown menu and the system will calculate the total BEFORE you commit to buy.

We use a standard shipping calculator. For some islands and territories the shipping far exceeds our standard shipping charges and in those cases we reserve the right to request more or to give a full refund without further explanation.

In some cases the shipping exceeds the calculated cost and in those cases we offer partial refunds to the buyer once the shipping has been arranged.

We use Royal Mail for the majority of UK orders or DHL with heavier, more valuable orders.

The majority of non-UK orders are sent by DHL Global Mail, via their depot in Germany. There is no tracking number available with this service.


If you're buying clothing please check your sizes carefully. If in any doubt contact us. You can return items for a refund, if they are returned in perfect condition, but we will not refund your postage and packing charges. If you need to exchange an item for another size you will need to pay additional postage.

We reserve the right to give a full refund and not fulfil orders to countries we have had repeated postal issues with. If this applies to your country we will email and refund you.


As a result of the UK leaving the EU, products that are delivered to EU countries are now classed as international delivery and may be subject to taxes or other charges beyond Sideburn's control. Taxes and Customs Fees are not included at the checkout. Your local tax authority will assess taxes and duties (if any) to be paid directly. Please be aware that if you refuse delivery for any reason, you are responsible for the content(s) of that order and will NOT be eligible for a refund of the shipping costs associated.

IMPORTANT - Please ensure you carefully input your telephone number and email address, along with your shipping details. Your email and phone number may be used by your Government authority or by your nominated courier to request payment of local taxes/duties.
If they are unable to contact you, or should payment not be made, there is a risk your order will be returned to us. If this happens, Sideburn will not be responsible.

Please be aware that the recipient of the order, if this person is different from the person ordering from this site, will be responsible for any additional charges.

We aim for your items to get to you in a timely fashion. Unfortunately on the odd occasion items may take longer than expected. If an item is still not with you at 30 days from the date of ordering, we will replace free of charge. This applies to UK and worldwide items.
